Alice Halstead : Soprano

Alice Halstead is a London-based soprano.

 

Alice has appeared on national television and radio and is a featured soloist on recordings by John Rutter and Karl Jenkins as well as on Clare College Choir's series of recordings of music for the liturgical seasons.

 

Alice graduated from Cambridge with a degree in Geography and from SOAS, University of London with a Masters in Violence, Conflict and Development.

 

From 2016 to 2017 she sang at St Martin-in-the Fields in Trafalgar Square as a Choral Scholar.

 

From 2012 to 2016 she sang under Graham Ross in the renowned choir at Clare College, Cambridge, one of the leading university choral groups in the world.

 

In October 2008 Alice won the coveted title of BBC Radio 2 Young Chorister of the Year in front of an audience of over 1,000 people in St. Paul's Cathedral, London.
